Jhonen Vasquez. If you know me, you know my feelings on him. He is THE artist, and a true genius in every sense of the word. His work reveals so much about humanity's absolute basest, darkest side, and then turns around and shows us someone or something as pure and right as this world can produce. And, as an added bonus, he'll make you laugh your ass off. Though most of it isn't the kind of thing the average person would admit to laughing at. Not if they want to maintain a reputation of sanity. But sanity's overrated anyway.
A few choice moments in Vasquez's printed works. More to come soon!
